2007 Sauvignon Blanc, Cedar Lane Vineyard, Arroyo Seco
Classic Sauvignon Blanc, with the clean, citrus aromas that are typical of the variety. Taste has hints of pears and melon flavors along with crisp and herbaceous characteristics. A lingering, mellow finish balances the crisp acidity. We did not fine or filter this wine in order to preserve its full character. The wine can be left standing upright for several hours and decanted for greater clarity if desired. Do not over chill. $15
2008 Chardonnay, Santa Cruz Mountains
This Chardonnay was made from clone 4 grapes and has a pale yellow color and aromas that are typical of the variety with hints of oak in the background. It is a medium-bodied wine with clean Chardonnay flavors showing the richness and oak overtones that are classic components of this variety in California. $18
2008 Chardonnay, Regan Vineyard, Santa Cruz Mountains
This Chardonnay was made from the Mt. Eden Clone and was fermented and aged in fine French oak barrels. With many of the characteristics found in top French white Burgundies, it is a complex wine with intriguing aromas of Chardonnay, minerals, and oak overtones. The taste has a very good acid balance with full-bodied varietal characteristics and considerable depth and structure. This wine can be enjoyed now, but will improve significantly in the bottle with age. $30
2008 Pinot Noir, Regan Vineyard, Santa Cruz Mountains
A bright ruby red color and fragrant aromas of dark cherries mixed with berries with a subdued oak background are some of the appealing characteristics of this young wine. It was bottled relatively early to capture the full-bodied, fruit-forward Pinot flavors with light, soft tannins and a clean, fresh finish that make this wine very pleasurable drinking at this early stage. After some time in the bottle it will mature into a richer, more complex wine.

2008 Pinot Noir, Fambrini Vineyard, Santa Cruz Mountains
The very small Fambrini Vineyard is located just to the northwest of Santa Cruz. With a soil heavily laden with limestone and a very cool climate, it is ideal for the growing of Pinot Noir grapes. The '08 Pinot Noir possesses many qualities that set it apart as a special, perhaps unique wine. The color is very dark for a Pinot, and the aroma is rich and full with a hint of oak undertones. It was aged in French oak barrels, though no new barrels were used to avoid excessive oak pickup. The taste is full-bodied, with hints of plums, berries, and cherries, but the overall taste is dominated by intense Pinot Noir flavors. We have released this wine at a young stage because it is a pleasure to drink now. $32
2008 Pinot Noir, Fambrini Vineyard, Santa Cruz Mountains, Special Barrel Selection
From the same harvest as the Fambrini Vineyard Pinot Noir above, this wine came from two barrels that turned out to be of such high quality that it deserved to be bottled separately with a special label. The color is quite dark for a Pinot, and the aroma is rich and complex. The taste is very full-bodied and multi-dimensional, with hints of various fruits such as berries and cherries, but the overall taste is dominated by complex Pinot Noir flavors. This wine is a superb example of the extraordinary quality that Pinot Noir can achieve in the Santa Cruz Mountains. $50
2007 Pinot Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands
Dark Pinot color and aromas of dark cherries with a hint of earthiness are typical of Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir. The taste is full-bodied with subtle oak overtones. The wine develops in the glass with exposure to air, revealing more fragrant Pinot aromas and richer fruit. Though it can be drunk now with pleasure, this wine will continue to develop more complexity and elegance with further bottle aging. Quantities are becoming limited! $32
2008 Merlot, Santa Cruz Mountains, Regan Vineyard NEW RELEASE
An extremely dark ruby color with purple overtones make this wine almost opaque. With complex and powerful aromas of cedar and other scents and a very full and intense taste, it is reminiscent of a top-rate Pomerol or Saint Emilion from the Bordeaux region of France. The wine simply must be tasted to appreciate its special qualities, as words cannot do it justice. At its superb, benchmark level of excellence, our 2008 Merlot reaffirms that Merlot is one of the great wine grapes of the world. $34
